So, I saw this stat a few days ago and it both saddens and angers me. With the cancellation of games through Dec 30, the NHL has now cancelled 17% of all regular season games scheduled since Oct 2004 and 10% of all games since Oct 1994.

What!!!

one out of every ten games over an 18 year stretch....that is ridiculous. As someone whose whole hockey fandom covers pretty much that time, I feel completely screwed. I have been shortchanged by the sport I love the most.

Now I gotta go learn Russian and find a proxy that will convince the KHL website that I'm not in North America so I can get KHL games livestreamed on the net (North Americans can only get the highlights).....THANK YOU NHL
