So i'm very very very happy and excited to say that one thing is going right in life :)

Tomorrow i will be seeing for the first time my all time fav. band live. for various reasons i will not go into i am not a giant live music fan .. check that I LOVE LOVE LOVE live music. not a fan of crowds and concerts, i was always intimidated with giant stadiums and arenas but have no problem with small intimate venues.. but i'm getting over that first one in my old age :)

anyways since i first hear them in 1996 i have been completely down with the counting crows... ( i know not the beatles or the stones but hey everyone is entitled to their fav stuff ) anyways i am getting to see them tomorrow at the casino. SOOOOOOOOO excited. this is / was truly a bucket list item. ( only 2 more bands and i can fulfill all my band bucket list items so far )

anyone seen them live? ive seen them live on tape :) but i have a pretty good idea what to expect. oh plus a night of gambling can't be that bad.

A friend and I were eating at some nice little out of the way restaurant in NYC one late night when they came in to eat. I have to assume they were hammered, but they were cracking us up.

I don't think anyone else knew who they were.

I can't take a whole album in one sitting, but singularly, their songs are pretty great. His voice get's a little nasaly and annoying for my tastes after about 5 songs.

That's the way I felt when I went up to NYC to see Rammstein a couple years ago.

Now if only I could win the lottery...

WOOOOOOT... ok guys i know there are some of you who are concert people and do live shows all the time and this is no big deal for you but i have to say. HOLY CRAP i can die happy :) 16 years ive waited for this and they didnt let me down. i can now die happy. ( and might die if i don't get hockey soon ) MY ONLY complaint is that apparently casino care more about the gambling ( duh ) than a show and don't let the performers play as long as they want so it was kinnda a short show. but the seats were great the crowd was good and they played everything i wanted to hear. i'm really happy today.

NEXT BUCKET LIST ITEM... blue october :)

Not that particular concert, but AC/DC was the loudest concert I've ever been to.

That whine worked for "Hate Me", but I can't get past it to enjoy anything else.

Try The Cure. (first incarnation)

Uhm he doesn't whine and the rest of the album is waay better then "hate me', that song blows compared to the rest of the album.
